TORPEDO DIVERS
THE EASY WAY TO GET YOUR LURE TO THE EXACT DEPTH YOU WANT !
The Torpedo Diver provides an extremely simple method of lowering your fishing lure to a precise depth with minimal reel drag, thus you are always in contact with the lure. With low drag, if you desire you can hold onto your fishing rod and feel the fish strike thus enjoying the whole fishing experience.
The mind set of a fish is simple. Eat but don’t be eaten. That is why when fish get spooked by things like noise, motion and of course boats they are less likely to strike at a bait. Hence, the most productive method of fishing is to get the bait as far away from the boat as possible in order to eliminate all potential distractions. To accomplish this you can run extra long leads between the Torpedo and the Lure before the Torpedo Diver is attached to your line and is set to the desired depth. You can easily set your lure out 50 feet (more in shallow water), in order to keep the lure away from the boat noise and other boat related distractions. If you use a more sensitive rod you can see something as small as a perch hit your lure even though the torpedo is on your line and you are using a long lead.
THE TORPEDO DIVER IS EXTREMELY EASY TO USE
- You simply let out the fishing line and lure until you get the desired leader length.
- Clip the Torpedo Diver onto the fishing line with the supplied clip.
- Then, you just let out line until your lure is at the desired depth.
—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————–
Each Torpedo Diver has the ability to reach certain depths, but add more Torpedo Divers on the same line and depths are unlimited.
How deep are the fish? Any depth now is attainable. A depth of 150 feet can be reached with only 321 feet of line out when trolling at 2.5mph
To change the depth your lure is running at, simply let out line or reel some in.
—————————————————————————————————————————————————————-
The biggest reason that our TORPEDO DIVERS WORK MORE CONSISTANTLY than other diver methods is that we supply very detailed charts that will let YOU KNOW EXACTLY HOW DEEP YOUR LURE IS. Our charts are set up in 0.1 mph increments making them much more accurate than those of other divers.

FISHING COMBINATIONS
The Torpedo Diver can also be used in combination with other fishing methods to increase depth and stealth.
- Add more stealth to your downrigger program (the torpedo gets your lure down well below the cannon ball).
- Get your copper wire to the desired depth with much less line out, and with much less drag than with other diving systems.
- Get your leadcore to the desired depth with much less line out.

WHEN TO USE EACH TORPEDO DIVER
![]() |
Cuda Diver* Color: Chartreuse * Length: 9 ½” * Set up is more then 2 times faster than a downrigger. * 2 mph @ 40 feet of 30lb braid or wire line out = 40 feet down. * 2.5 mph and 3 mph chart included see depth charts for other printable charts. The Cuda (largest) Torpedo Diver will give a greater angle of attack by keeping the Torpedo close to the boat. If travelling at 2.5mph and desired lure depth is 40 feet, then 58 feet of line is needed, once the Torpedo is clipped onto your fishing line. |

Shark Diver* Color: Blue * Length: 6 ¾” * Set up is more then 2 times faster than a flat disk diver. * 2 mph @ 110 feet of 30lb braid or wire line out = 40 feet down. * 2.5 mph and 3 mph chart included see depth charts for other printable charts. A Shark Torpedo Diver is used when desired angle of attack is to be at closer to 45 degrees. This allows stacking of a second line on top of the larger Torpedo Divers. More output line is required to reach the same depths and thus the Torpedo is further away from the boat noise. Medium sized Torpedo Divers are used when active fish are boat shy. |

Snapper Diver * Color: Fluorescent Red/Orange * Length: 5 ½” * Set up is more then 2 times faster than a flat disk diver. * 2 mph @ 204 feet of 30lb braid or wireline out = 40 feet down. * 2.5 mph and 3 mph chart included see depth charts for other printable charts The Snapper (smallest) Torpedo Diver gives the least angle of attack and runs along the surface of the water to depths of 30 feet. The smallest Torpedo Divers are used when fishing shallower water or when active fish are very boat shy. |
REASONS TO USE A TORPEDO DIVER
- The Torpedo Diver provides a simple, efficient method to get lures deep and away from the boat!
- The Torpedo Diver has very little resistance, a four year old child can reel in the Cuda sized Torpedo Diver.
- The little resistance also means you are seeing your baits action and you will know if your line is fouled when the rod tip action changes.
- Reach any depth desired by clipping on more Torpedo Divers. Your depth ratio becomes just above 2:1 or two feet of line out to one foot down.
- Get more lines in the water by stacking smaller Torpedo Divers on top of larger Torpedo Divers when fishing structure or when making tight turns.
- Fish wide and deep with Planer boards or Off shore inline boards.
- The Torpedo Diver does not use a release, meaning the Angler has direct contact with the lure. With the Torpedo Diver you will always know if you have a fish on!
- The Torpedo Diver is designed to turn sideways for a moment when a fish strikes. This sideways movement causes maximum drag and gives the Angler more time to set the hook.
- If the Angler is not paying attention when fighting a fish the line could go slack due to not reeling in fast enough, in this case the Torpedo Diver will drop below the fish and thus will aid in keeping pressure on the hook.
- Did a fish strike but get off? No need to reset the line, simply look at the rod tip’s action in anticipation of the next strike.
- With the Torpedo Divers a hit from a walleye or other light hitting fish will be instantly known, no need to look twice at the rod.
- Even with long leads the rod tip vibrates due to the lures action, if the vibration stops then your line is fouled.

TORPEDO WIRE
THE INCREDIBLE NEW FISHING WIRE THAT FORGIVES KINKS

Hi there my fellow trolling enthusiasts. If you have used wire line in the past you know two things. It is a very productive way to catch fish, and it can be a real pain. Historically wire lines kink easily, and become a liability as soon as they kink because their break strength is seriously compromised. When older styles of wire line kink, they almost always break and this usually results in your loosing your expensive fishing tackle. Older types of 7 strand wire line are stiff, attract spiny water fleas and are hard on your hands and even harder on your rod guides
Introducing New 30lb. Nineteen Strand Torpedo Wire™
- Unlike other wire fishing lines, this wire line doesn’t usually kink.
- If you do manage to kink your line, the kink can usually be pulled out of the line.
- Unlike other wire lines, our line still holds up to its test strength if kinked.
- The incredible new torpedo wire is 2.7 times more flexible than our competitors.
- Our new Torpedo Wire is less prone to Spiny Water Fleas than our competitors.
- Our new incredible 19 strand Torpedo wire line is rounder more and smoother than 7 strand and is easier on rod guides
